The Standard Abrasives brand has expanded its line of Flap Discs to include Type 27 Ceramic Oxide Discs. The unique formulation and use of A/O and ceramic grains makes these new discs a good choice for basic and challenging applications. They provide a high cut rate with long life. The Type 27 Ceramic Discs are ideal for fabrication of flat stainless steel surfaces. Available in 4 1/2” and 7” diameters in 36, 50, 60 and 80 grits.
Ceramic Oxide Cartridge Rolls, in a variety of sizes and shapes, are the newest additions to the extensive line of Standard Abrasives Cartridge Rolls .The unique formulation of the ceramic grain makes these rolls a good choice for basic and challenging applications. Ceramic Oxide Cartridge Rolls offer a long abrasive life compared to other non-ceramic grains. The ceramic grain also helps keep heat down as the work piece gets warmer, providing a cooler run.
The Standard Abrasives brand includes Cut-Off Wheels in General Purpose Aluminum Oxide and High Performance Pinnacle Ceramic for the toughest tasks. The bonded Cut-Off Wheels are constructed of abrasive grain that provides exceptional durability, metal cutting efficiencies and improved cutting.
Standard Abrasives has developed a line of Vacuum Assist Quick Change Discs, specially designed with exposed dust holes for use on portable grinders with vacuum shrouds. The combination allows dust to be extracted through symmetrically placed holes in the abrasive disc and into a vacuum system.
