Universal Laser Systems (ULS) manufactures CO2 laser systems for marking, cutting and engraving that accommodate a wide variety of materials including plastics, rubber, glass, wood, fabric and more. Systems even mark directly on some metals, such as stainless steel, with Universal’s High Power Density Focusing Optics (HPDFO)™.
Ideal for prototyping, labeling, bar coding, degating and marking high value assets in manufacturing environments and various industries, Universal’s laser systems deliver seamless integration of the CO2 laser, laser system and Laser Interface+™ print driver for improved operation, optimized workflow and expanded applications.
ULS offers the most comprehensive line of upgradeable CO2 laser systems in the industry. Systems range from 16x12 inches (406x305mm) to 48x24 inches (1219x610mm) with laser power from 10-150 watts. The Industrial Series offers pass-through doors for processing items of unlimited length and for easy integration into a production line. Universal also manufactures RoHS compliant CO2 lasers for OEMs with options for air and water-cooling in multiple configurations.

New VersaLASER Platform Offers Flexibility, Speed, and Quality
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Universal Laser Systems, Inc. (ULS), a leading manufacturer of CO2 lasers and laser printing solutions, today announced the availability of its new VersaLASER® VLS3.60, VLS4.60, and VLS6.60 platform series, an expansion to its desktop product line.
In the program segment featuring the Universal Laser System, Brown revealed that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology laser laboratory has been researching ways in which the Universal Laser System’s laser engraving machine can mark food products with text, logos, and graphics.
The new state-of-the-art facility houses laser system production, sales, marketing, engineering, and technical support staff, as well as warehousing and shipping operations.
